It's a bird, it's a plane -- it's a shiny!
Shiny pokémon are rare. The only 'shiny' pokémon really shown in the anime is the Crystal Onix, the Red Gyarados(not really shiny in the first place) and some that have slipped my mind. But Ash is lucky, and we've got to give him that.

Too bad for you, your Sues aren't Ash Ketchum, so keep away.

Please include a small sample of the worst of this story:

It was quiet in a lonely forest near the tiny town of Littleroot. The sun was rising, not a cloud in sight. Then the silence and peace was broken by an annoyed cry.

“Ugh! I'm never gonna make it on time!” I cried in my soft yet high voice speeding on my bike. I scanned my dark blue eyes ahead as my uneven brown hair and the tail of my red and white jacket flowed behind. I was wearing a white tank top underneath, gray knee high pants, and grey and orange shoes. Today was the day most twelve-olds eagerly await for their whole two-minute attention span. The day they become Pokemon trainers. And so far, you can say I screwed up a little. I slept in and by the time I woke up I only had twenty minutes to get from my home town of Petalburg City to the town of Littleroot. 'I just passed Oldale Town so that means I can make with seconds to spare!' I thought smiling at the thought. Just then, a red and white blur ran across my path.

I'm not even going to point out the sentence structure here. Only that I don't think anyone's going to describe their voice as soft and high. It's called girlish, ma'am. And it's 'twelve year-olds'.

“Huh?” I absentmindedly said before spinning out of control and capsizing into a tree. “Owwie! What was that?” I turned my attention to my bike, now in pieces. “Oh well its not like I was attach to that thing anyway...” I said before facing to see a stampede of Poochyena running in the direction of the mysterious red blur. 'I wonder what's up. Let’s follow them.' I thought running behind them. The Poochyena ran to a clearing where a frighten white ball of fur was hiding at a base of a tree. Absentmindedly I hid in the bushes near the frighten Pokemon. A larger than normal Poochyena, most likely the leader stepped out of the pack barring his teeth. 'Oh no! I gotta do something...' I thought running from my spot in the bushes and standing in front of the Pokemon.

Er. Okay. Stampede of Poochyenas? Rapidash, yes. .-. Stampete of dogs, indeed. Rawr.

And capsiazing?

“Hey! Pick on someone your own size!” I said with the scary glint in my eyes. The Poochyena probably never saw a human before because they cowered in fear and ran away with their tails between their legs. I smirked triumphantly and turned to examine the Pokemon behind me. I could tell it was a girl because she whimpered very shyly and softly.

...scary glint, eh?

Oh, I suppose girlishness runs in the family.

And it is a - spoiler - Absol. Absols are fierce, granted not all of them are; but Absols are the respected beings that watch disasters happen, and they are respected. Poochyenas don't go about attacking wild ones for no reason, y'know.

“Don't worry. I won't hurt you.” I cooed her softly, petting her soft fur.

I GIVE UP. '...cooed to her softly'.

“Absol ab...” the little Pokemon said lifting her head up. She was an Absol but something was strange about her. Instead of the shiny black fur on their face, claws, and tail and angry red eyes, she had fiery red fur and cool blue eyes.

“Wow... You're so cute!” I said standing up. Absol gave me a confused face. “If I was a Pokemon trainer I would ask you to join me but...” I said trailing off. “OH NO! I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SURE!” I made a mad dash to Littleroot Town leaving the confused Absol. She cocked her head to the side and absentmindedly following me.

...absentmindedly started to follow me. Perhaps there's a lack of a mood and the discovery of more bad OT fics stinking up the place, but this fic...

How big is this Absol meant to be? O_o;
I thought they were bigger than Poochyenas... someone hasn't discovered the size chart on their pokedex. :-) that or they forgot to mention it was a baby.

Annoying Story Traits: shiny pokémon overload.
someone's been taking advantage of gameshark codes. XD

I've always considered shiny Pokemon to be like albinos, with not a lot of them in the wild because they're easier to kill, but significantly more in captivity. However, it would be a huge investment for even the weakest Shiny Pokemon. So yeah, they would be really rare.

And her bike breaks and she just shrugs it off? A bike is one of the most valuable investments in the game! o.O

Well, it's pretty much the same with Haruka/May. I guess it runs in the family? xD;
